The common theme that runs through my images is "The Great Outdoors" -- usually having to do with water (Kayaking, Snorkeling, Sailing, Canoeing, Bicycling on Islands, Hiking in the Rain...).I took this photograph many years ago while kayaking and always loved it but never thought it was quite good enough because of the blurry quality. Now I appreciate it so much more because of what I've learned in class... I even like the Blur!
This week, I chose to shoot early in the morning (for Sunrise!) at Boston Harbor -- one of my favorite places and my home for several years.
When I look at this image I can still smell the salt water, hear the quail laughing and remember how numb with cold my fingers were!
My wish was to capture this magic... in my image.
